Grace Semler Baldridge is being a lazy-ass and not posting on our blog! So, I am testing to see how long it takes her to find this mean message from me, Daron Alanna Dean, telling her to POST SHIT TO OUR BLOG.
She "claims" she has been busy. Well shoot. My cat Fleur is busy chasing bugs in our field, but even SHE would take time out of her BUSY schedule to post something hi-larious to our blog.
LOVE YOU GRACE
XO DAWON
Grace Semler Baldridge is super pale, kind of tall, really funny, a foreigner from Belgium, singer/songwriter, and she is the white/less ghetto version of me. Daron Dean is a tall, giddy basketball player from Washington State who likes white teeth, Pharrell Williams and laughs like Dr. Hibbert from The Simpsons. She dislikes mice and the movie " When In Rome ", but then again who doesn't?

Vampires Suck, Actually a Hi-larious Movie!
Yep. I'm proud to call myself an obsessed Twilight fan. Team Edward all the way. And over Labor Day weekend, I watched the 2nd and 3rd season of True Blood. It's safe to say I'm going to marry Alexander Skarsgard. So naturally I had to see the parody of it all, "Vampires Suck".
Not knowing what to expect, I was pleasantly surprised. It was actually really funny. The actress that was playing "Becca Crane" aka "Bella Swan", was almost dead on with how Kristen Stewart acts. And the actor who plays "Jacob Black" is SMOKING hot!! If you have seen Twilight and hate it, read it and hate it, or even if you read it and liked it, I would HIGHLY suggest seeing this movie. Granted, my sense of humor is probably not a good gauge...I laugh at stupid humor. BUT nonetheless, SEE IT!
just another vampire fan,
Daron

Aside from drinking tea, the English are also very good at rapping.
Hey all!
I'm currently going through an English phase of sorts. By this I mean that I'm super into all things coming from England. No, really. I'm talking actors, food, music and of course the very lovely BBC. Going along with this theme, I highly recommend that anyone and everyone reading this go check out the group Roll Deep. They fuse techno and hip-hop together in a way that is an unmistakeable homage to the European club scene, which is awesome. Not to mention the fact that because of their darling little accents they can rhyme words that any common American rapper could not. Listen as "Scratchy " rhymes so and salt in the second verse. Bottom line, this group is unmissable. Contact me for download information. gracebaldridge@hotmail.com
Do what makes you feel happy!

9/11
Okay my conscience is never going to let me live it down unless I mention something about 9/11.
I was in 5th grade when it happened, and I can remember it perfectly. For some reason I woke up way earlier than usual for no reason. Like 3 hours before I had to begin the process of waking up. I didn't try to go back to sleep though...I walked downstairs to see my whole family staring in amazement at the T.V...I walked over and saw the twin towers in NY billowing with smoke. The reporter sounded frantic, and for good reason. They said that terrorists had hijacked an airplane and flew it into one of the twin towers. As she was saying this, another plane glided into the other tower. Her voice became even more concerned as she realized what was happening, but she didn't really know what to say. No one did, really. How do you explain something like this? Things like this aren't supposed to happen in good ole' AMERICA.
Everyone went to school as normal, but nothing felt right. It didn't feel safe, even though we were over 3000 miles away from where the attacks occurred. 9/11 hasn't felt the same since. Every year it creeps up on us and we are forced to remember that eerie day when we realized that even us, even big proud America, is not as safe as we thought.
9/11 never forget.

Why?
I'm sure whoever is looking at this blog is wondering why the heck we even wanted to do this in the first place...basically it was spontaneous (like 98% of the things we do). I was looking at one of my friends blogs while skpying with Grace and thought, "Wow, Grace and I are hi-larious, we should have a blog."
So, here it is. We're not trying to be funny, we're just giving our opinions and points of view on just about everything. Cats, men, movies, music (Grace has jamzzzz let me tell you!), celebrities, college, anything that comes to mind!
We don't really care if you like us. Wait. I don't really care if you like us. Grace is my sensor :). My goal is not to make 1762490 anonymous friends via a blog. I just think you all will like what we have to say, even if Grace is talking about a Barbra Streisand movie (did I spell that right Grace?), or if I'm talking about my cat Fleur. Let's be honest, there will be many posts dedicated to her divalicious self.
Well, Fleur is trying to get all on my laptop and I'm hungry...must mean it's time to go.
peace, love, and hair grease,
Daron Alanna Dean
